Senior Exit Portfolio

1. A statement of post-secondary goals: what does the student want to do after ASTI?
-Attend a UC or CSU to pursue my career goal.
-Find a part-time job to earn a living and also look for a college or university to finish school.
-Travel around the world to see what might spark interest.
2. A personal résumé: this should already be completed by each and every ASTI senior.


3. A reflective essay: students may revise earlier drafts they may have already worked on. 
4. Three (3) or more artifacts that represent the student’s best work from at least three (3) subject areas in high school or in college coursework taken at College of Alameda.
  •  American History quiz on Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address
  • Algebra 2 math test on Pythagorean theorem.
  • Essay from Ahn (Soph eng teacher). 
5. A short written rationale for each artifact, defending the student’s choice for inclusion
  • Good memorization on Gettysburg Address, earning an A.
  • Good Mathematics skills.
  • Shows ability in able to comprehend expectations on an essay and analysis.
